Aces Absorb 8-2 Home Loss
|
Starting pitcher Perry Stoll was a major factor in the 8-2 New Orleans Zephyrs triumph over the Reno Aces. New Orleans raised its record to 51-50 with the win.
Joseph Thomson, the New Orleans first baseman, contributed a 2-run single in the top of the fourth inning to make the score 5-0, Zephyrs. For the game, Thomson went 2-5 with 2 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once.
"We took advantage of our opportunities," Thomson told the New Orleans Times. "It's as simple as that."
