Dodgers Suffer 5-1 Home Defeat
Colorado Springs pitcher Justin Edwards did his part in helping his team defeat the Oklahoma City Dodgers, 5-1. The opposition could never get too much going against the left-hander. In 7.2 innings, Edwards surrendered 6 hits, while striking out 9 and walking 2. He allowed 1 run. Bill Romanelli recorded his 5th save for Colorado Springs.

Colorado Springs shortstop DeAndre Driggers contributed a timely at-bat in the top of the second. With two down, he hit a sinker to center field for a 2-run single. It was his 57th hit of the season and put the Sky Sox ahead, 3-0.
