The Iowa Cubs racked up a win at Principal Park, bumping off the Omaha Storm Chasers, 4-3, in 10 innings. Brad Danforth, who started for Iowa, pitched effectively for his team. Iowa is last in the American Conference North Division with a record of 47-55.

A defensive lapse proved costly in the contest. With the game tied in the bottom of the tenth, an error by the Storm Chasers allowed the Cubs to score the winning run.

"Our team showed some resilience," said Danforth.
