The Omaha Storm Chasers knocked off the Fresno Grizzlies, 7-3, at Werner Park. Ryan Miller was a big reason Omaha won. The second baseman was 2 for 3 with a home run and 2 walks, while scoring 2 times and driving in 4. Danny Rosario got the win, improving to 10-4. He held the Grizzlies to 3 runs on 6 hits over 7 innings, while striking out 5 and walking 5. The third-place Storm Chasers now sit at 47-52.

Omaha took a 6-3 lead on Miller's 9th home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which he hit off Jim Grangroth in the bottom of the seventh, propelled Omaha to the win.

"It's always a heck of a lot easier to get to sleep after a win," Miller told the Omaha Observer. "I know I'll rest easy tonight."
