The Oklahoma City Dodgers topped the El Paso Chihuahuas, 1-0, in American Conference action at Southwest University park. The game was highlighted by the performance of Oklahoma City pitcher Jordan Roman. The Dodgers lead the American Conference North Division by 4 games.
Oklahoma City won the game in part because of Curtis Thomasson. The designated hitter ripped a solo home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Dodgers ahead, 1-0. For the game, Thomasson had 1 double and 1 home run in 4 at-bats.
"It's the best feeling when you come through for your teammates," said Thomasson.
