A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the Tacoma Rainiers and Nashville Sounds.

The Tacoma Rainiers beat the Nashville Sounds, 6-4, at Cheney Stadium. Shane Paulson, in particular, was impressive. He was 3 for 4 with 3 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. The win puts the Rainiers at 45-58, while the Sounds drop to 38-64.

The game turned with two out in the bottom of the fourth. That's when Paulson hit a 2-run single off Josh Steele. It propelled the Rainiers into the lead, 4-2.

Paulson told a Tacoma Bulletin reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.
