Dodgers Rally to Tally 8-7 Win
|
The Oklahoma City Dodgers outlasted Brian Mizrahi and the Reno Aces, 8-7. Mizrahi was impressive in the loss. The Reno right fielder went 3-4 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3. Oklahoma City is now 61-41, 4 games up in the American Conference North Division.
The Dodgers were down to their last out in the bottom of the ninth inning, when 25-year old second baseman Manny Barraza landed a big blow. He turned a 2-1 changeup from Will Cascalho into a 2-run single. The walk-off single sent the Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark denizens into a frenzy and sent the Dodgers home with a thrilling 8-7 win.
"This place was rocking at the end," Barraza said.
