Jorge Santana propelled his team to victory over the Omaha Storm Chasers. The final score was 3-1, Tacoma. Jorge Reyes recorded the save, making him 5 for 10. By defeating Omaha, the second-place Rainiers improved to 55-49.

Tacoma took a 2-1 lead on Jose Mendez's 10th home run of the season. The solo home run, which Mendez hit in the top of the eighth, left Omaha pitcher David Santana visibly frustrated.

"Every loss stings," said Omaha manager Lorenzo Villatoro. "This one is no exception."
