Zephyrs shortstop Mark Dellenbach left his mark on his team's 4-1 win over the El Paso Chihuahuas. Dellenbach, who is tied for 8th in the AC in home runs with 10, went 2 for 2 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 and driving in 2 for New Orleans in the contest. The win went to Eric Nieto in relief. His record improves to 3-1. Brian Boon took the loss. The loss makes El Paso 59-50.
Dellenbach had a big at-bat with the bases empty in the bottom of the fifth inning, when he hit a solo home run. The Zephyrs went on to win.
"We'll put this win in the can," said Dellenbach, "and go after the next one."
