Down to Defeat Go Isotopes, 5-2
|
Starting pitcher Nick Colley was a major factor in the 5-2 Omaha Storm Chasers triumph over the Albuquerque Isotopes. George Bryan picked up the save for Omaha, his 13th of the year. The third-place Storm Chasers improved to 51-56.
Ryan Miller cracked a home run off Michio Ono in the top of the sixth. His 3-run blast put the Storm Chasers on top, 4-2. In all, Miller had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 4.
"Nick was dealing," said Omaha manager Willie Elizondo.
