With left fielder Pat Holland leading the charge, the El Paso Chihuahuas defeated the Omaha Storm Chasers, 4-1, at Southwest University park. Holland, who is tied for 8th in the PC in triples with 6, went 2-4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 and driving in 3. Pete McNeely was the winning pitcher. Over 6 innings, he allowed 1 run on 5 hits, with 2 walks and 4 strikeouts. The second-place Chihuahuas sport a record of 63-47.

In the bottom of the fourth, El Paso designated hitter Alex Razo had a productive at-bat. With runners on 1st and 2nd and one out, Razo stroked a run-scoring single to center. It made the score 2-1, El Paso. For the game, he went 1-3 with a walk.
