Clark Propels New Orleans to 10-0 Win
|
New Orleans Zephyrs starter Mike Clark found his groove in his team's 10-0 win over the El Paso Chihuahuas. The first-place Zephyrs hiked their record to 54-56.
Clark, who dominated for New Orleans, earned the victory to move to 5-8. He was in control the whole game, scattering 3 hits over 7.1 innings, while striking out 10. El Paso batters could never bunch up enough hits to produce a rally.
El Paso manager Matt Pace said "nothing went right"in the blowout loss.
