Brice Crafts 9-0 Shutout
|
Fans at Security Service Field witnessed the Colorado Springs Sky Sox blank the Fresno Grizzlies, 9-0 behind a superb effort by starter Marshall Brice. The Colorado Springs left-hander allowed 1 hit in recording the shutout.
"Marshall was good today but I don't want to focus too much on a single game," Colorado Springs manager Danny Kenney said later. "If you're capable of playing at this level, you're capable of having a good game. The real question is if you can learn from that game and repeat it."
In season stats Brice shows a 2-2 record in 5 games, 34 innings, 30 strikeouts and a 3.71 ERA.
