Cashman Field was the site of a tense game between the Oklahoma City Dodgers and Las Vegas 51s.

The Las Vegas 51s picked up a win at Cashman Field, taking down the Oklahoma City Dodgers, 3-1. Starting pitcher Jared Savage was a big reason why. Danny Bustos recorded the save for Las Vegas, his 1st of the season.

Las Vegas took a 3-1 lead on Chris Sims's 5th home run of the season. The 2-run home run came off Oklahoma City pitcher Kareem Newport in the bottom of the seventh.

"We didn't string enough hits together to win the game," said tight-lipped Oklahoma City manager Kevin Taylor. "Obviously."

With the win, the 51s improved to 58-56.
