Big Day for Montanye: Swats 5 Hits
There was no storybook ending. Nate Montanye of the Round Rock Express socked it to the visiting El Paso Chihuahuas with a terrific 5-hit game, but his team didn't get the win. The Express fell, 11-8, at Dell Diamond.

"I don't want to sound ungrateful, but something is missing here," Montanye complained following the loss. "When you have a great game you should win the game, too."

He definitely had an unforgettable day in the batter's box, ripping out 5 hits in 5 at-bats. Round Rock manager Yukio Tanaka sympathized with his left fielder, telling BNN reporters after the game that "Nate played a whale of a game, but sometimes individual brilliance is not enough."

Nate Montanye walked in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, hit an RBI double in the 4th, singled in the 6th, hit an RBI double in the 7th and singled in the 9th.

Montanye is currently batting .326 with 2 home runs and 56 RBIs.
