The El Paso Chihuahuas trumped the Memphis Redbirds, 10-2, at AutoZone Park. El Paso third baseman Jonathan Troncoso was terrific. He hit 2 home runs. He scored 3 times and drove in 4. Pete McNeely, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 4th save. El Paso raised its record to 66-48 with the win.

With El Paso leading 2-0 in the top of the first, Troncoso hit a changeup from Bill Rosario for a 3-run home run. It was his 16th home run of the season and put the Chihuahuas ahead, 5-0.

"Good pitching and timely hitting is a recipe for success," said Troncoso.
