The El Paso Chihuahuas stymied the Reno Aces, 7-0, at Southwest University park. Andrew Lankford had a good day at the plate. He went 3-4 with a double and 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for El Paso. El Paso is now 55-60.

Dave Preston helped out the El Paso cause in the bottom of the fifth inning with a run-scoring sacrifice fly. For the game, the designated hitter drew 1 walk in 5 plate appearances.
