A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the El Paso Chihuahuas and Round Rock Express.

The Chihuahuas grabbed a win, 4-0, at Dell Diamond, overcoming a fine effort from Round Rock pitcher Luis Zubia. Zubia went 6.2 innings and allowed 2 runs. The second-place Chihuahuas are now 68-49, the Express 64-53.

Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Andy Burke? The El Paso second baseman had a run-scoring single in the top of the second inning to put the Chihuahuas on top, 1-0. For the game, Burke had 2 doubles and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

"Coulda, shoulda, woulda," said Round Rock manager Erik Johansen. "We had our chances and didn't cash in."
