Noah Sanders was a vital contributor to the 4-2 Oklahoma City victory over Memphis. The Dodgers third baseman went 1-2 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 runs. Josh Salvino sewed up the save, his 8th. The first-place Dodgers, at 80-34, now lead their division by 17 games.
The Dodgers got a big at-bat from second baseman Montel Ruspoli. For the game, Ruspoli was 1-3 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the second, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 3-run home run. His 8th home run of the season gave Oklahoma City a 3-1 lead.
"One win at a time, one game at a time. We try not to get too far ahead of ourselves," Ruspoli told the Oklahoma City News.
