Fans watched the New Orleans Zephyrs and the Omaha Storm Chasers fight to the finish.

Pedro Sandoval, who is tied for 2nd in the AC in innings pitched with 171.1, was locked in. The right-hander led the New Orleans Zephyrs to a 4-3 win against the Omaha Storm Chasers at Werner Park. New Orleans is in third place in the American Conference South Division with a record of 58-58.

New Orleans needed the clutch hitting of Ricky Alvarez to seal the deal. The first baseman swatted a solo home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Zephyrs on top, 4-3. For the game, Alvarez had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
