At Werner Park, the Omaha Storm Chasers and Tacoma Rainiers were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.

With Jose Falcon leading the charge, the Tacoma Rainiers defeated the Omaha Storm Chasers, 11-5. Falcon was 3 for 5 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3 for the Rainiers. Tacoma pitcher Aaron Craig earned the win, hiking his record to 8-11. Sam Leonard suffered the loss.

Early in the game, Falcon had a 2-run home run for Tacoma. It was his 12th home run of the season and put the Rainiers on top, 2-0.

"We just can't get over the hump," said losing manager Willie Elizondo.
