Round Rock wasted an exceptional performance by pitcher Ben Daly, falling to the El Paso Chihuahuas, 7-3. Daly threw 7.0 innings of 5-hit ball for the losing team. Angelo Leon notched the win in relief. The right-hander allowed 1 run on 2 hits in 2 innings. His record now sits at 7-3. El Paso is second in the Pacific Conference South Division with a record of 67-49.

The Chihuahuas beat the Express in part due to timely hitting. Case in point: the two-out single Brice White produced in the top of the 11th. Batting against Zuwiski, White gave his team a 5-3 lead when he hit a 2-run single.

"We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said White.
