The Reno Aces had to overcome a good performance from El Paso pitcher Jason Bingham to claim a 3-2 win at Aces Ballpark. Bingham went 6 innings and allowed no runs. Dan Couture picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 1-1. Brian Rhea, who is tied for 5th in the PC in holds with 3, was tagged with the loss. The win puts Reno at 59-59 this season.
Julian Rodriquez was the walk-off hero for Reno. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Aces third baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
"What a buzz," said Rodriquez after it was over.
