Matt Gremillion did all he could to help his team win. In the end, though, it wasn't enough to keep the Omaha Storm Chasers from being beaten, 8-5, to the Round Rock Express at Werner Park. Gremillion was 2-3 with 2 singles and 2 walks, while adding 2 RBI. Justin Denton earned the win after being summoned from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits in 3.1 innings. He upped his record to 3-3. Earning his 8th save of the year was Salvatore Ayala.

Round Rock used the timely hitting of Adrian Aguilera to capture the win. The first baseman stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the seventh inning to put the Express on top, 6-4. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but he made it count.

"When there are games to be won, you win them," said Round Rock manager Yukio Tanaka.

The third-place Express sport a record of 54-64.
