The Salt Lake Bees defeated the Reno Aces, 9-1. Doing his part was right fielder Kenneth Cluett, who was 2 for 3 with a home run and a double, while scoring 3 times and driving in 4. Fred Szilagyi earned the win, while 22-year old right-handed pitcher Mike Gonzales took the loss for Reno. The Bees raised their record to 65-54.

Regardless of the outcome, those who came to Smith's Ballpark for the Pacific Conference contest enjoyed being there.
