Bees Pull Off Thrilling 12-9 Win in Extras
The Salt Lake Bees had to overcome a big game from Albuquerque second baseman Hugo Sanchez to leave Isotopes Park with a victory. And they did, winning 12-9. Sanchez went 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 times and drove in 3. Salt Lake pitcher Vic Correa got the win. He's now 8-9. Miles Bishop was tagged with the loss. The last-place Bees now have a win-loss record of 59-60.

Salt Lake used the clutch hitting of Bobby Williams to capture the win. The second baseman drilled a run-scoring double in the top of the tenth inning to give the Bees the lead, 9-8. For the game, Williams had 1 single and 1 double in 5 at-bats.

"The guys seem happy with the win. That's good, I guess," said Williams.
