The Fresno Grizzlies faced a tough opponent in Sacramento pitcher Brian McQuain, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Chukchansi Park by a final score of 5-4. McQuain went 5.1 innings and allowed 2 runs. Marcos Zamora nailed down his 7th save. The Pacific Conference North Division-leading Grizzlies have a record of 67-54.

The Grizzlies got a big at-bat from catcher Josh Griswold. For the game, Griswold went 1-3 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the sixth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 6th home run of the season gave Fresno a 5-3 lead.
