The Columbus Clippers dealt the Buffalo Bisons a 5-3 loss at Huntington Park. Rory Palmer was the star on offense. He was 1 for 3 with a home run and was hit by a pitch. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. The Clippers, with only their 3rd win in 14 games, have not had much to write home about in 2112.

Palmer had a timely hit for Columbus in the bottom of the sixth. With Columbus trailing 3-2, he turned a 2-1 screwball into a 3-run home run. It was his 1st home run of the season, making it 5-3, Columbus.

"We take it day by day here," said Palmer, "and today was a good one for us."
