Charlotte right fielder Robby Spore had a good game, even if his team did not. The Knights dropped a 6-5 decision to Scranton WB at PNC Field. Spore was 3-3 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 runs. Austin Stutzman, the winning pitcher, is now 2-1. He went 6 innings, allowing 2 runs on 7 hits, while fanning 7 and walking 1. Picking up the save was John Hutchison, his 1st.

The RailRiders got a big hit from designated hitter Sean Watson. Facing Charlotte pitcher Bill Romero in the bottom of the sixth, Watson pounded a run-scoring double to left-center. His 3rd double of the season put the RailRiders ahead, 6-2.

"I like the vibe in the clubhouse after a win," said Watson. "It sure beats the alternative."

The Knights are now 6-9 this season.
