Dodgers Rally to Win
The Iowa Cubs wasted an impressive 7-inning effort from starter Alex Gutierrez, falling, 2-1, to the Oklahoma City Dodgers in 10 innings at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark. Craig Abling got credit for the win, improving to 3-1. He allowed no runs on no hits in 3 innings. The win puts Oklahoma City at 74-50 this season.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the tenth inning, when Oklahoma City center fielder Josh Melchior, facing Alexis Espinoza, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the Dodgers the 2-1 win.

"The game of baseball will test you," said Hector Pinero, the Oklahoma City skipper. "This one tested us."
