Bees Earn 3-1 Home Win
|
In a tight affair between the Salt Lake Bees and the Albuquerque Isotopes, pitcher Tony Morones was in the zone. The Salt Lake right-hander helped his team win the game, 3-1. The last-place Isotopes dropped to 61-63.
Seung-hwan Lee had a big solo home run for the Bees in the bottom of the fourth inning. With Salt Lake leading 1-0 and the bases empty, he sized up a slider from 23-year old right-handed pitcher Dan Poff and punished it. The result was his 2nd home run of the season, which put the Bees on top, 2-0.
"What can you say about Tony?" said Salt Lake manager Aaron Hunt. "He was pretty incredible."
