The Reno Aces earned a win at Aces Ballpark, knocking off the Albuquerque Isotopes, 5-1. On the bump for Reno was right-hander Tyler Stegman. He had a starring role in the triumph. Reno pitcher Dan Couture got the win. He's now 2-1. Mike Calabro was tagged with the loss. Reno has a record of 63-62, placing them third in the Pacific Conference North Division.

Reno got a clutch hit from Fernando Carreon. The second baseman launched a grand slam home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a kill shot.

"It's great to see the crowd jacked up," Carreon said.
