The Memphis Redbirds got a stellar effort from pitcher Doug Donaghey, helping Memphis score a win over the visiting Omaha Storm Chasers, 5-1. Memphis has now reeled off 6 straight wins.

Ken Halford had a big 2-run double for the Redbirds in the bottom of the fifth inning. With Memphis leading 2-0 and runners on 2nd and 3rd, he got a fastball from 25-year old right-handed pitcher Danny Nash and swatted a double to left-center. It was his 21st double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Redbirds ahead, 4-0.

"Whenever we hold the other team to one run," said Redbirds manager Justin Tullar, "I like our chances."
