Chihuahuas Lose 8-3 Decision to Salt Lake
|
Salt Lake picked up a win at Southwest University park, bumping off the El Paso Chihuahuas, 8-3. Pitcher Ian Slay was a major reason the Bees emerged victorious. The Bees now have a mark of 56-71.
Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Randy Zito? The Salt Lake third baseman had a 2-run double in the top of the third inning to put the Bees on top, 4-0. For the game, Zito had 1 double and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
"Solid performance from our side," said Bees manager Aaron Hunt.
