The Fresno Grizzlies picked up a win at Chukchansi Park, downing the Albuquerque Isotopes, 9-3. On the mound for Fresno was left-hander Miguel Fregoso, who played a pivotal role in the win. Fregoso got the win, improving to 9-8. He gave up 5 hits and walked 3 over 7 innings. He allowed 1 run. Fresno, at 65-63, sits in second place in the Pacific Conference North Division.

Fidel Hernandez had a big bases-clearing double for the Grizzlies in the bottom of the first inning. With Fresno leading 1-0 and the bases loaded, he got a fastball from Leonardo Duran, who is tied for 9th in the PC in wins with 9, and swatted a double to right-center. It was his 30th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Grizzlies ahead, 4-0.

"Things didn't bounce our way," said Albuquerque skipper Ryan Gangle.
