The Nashville Sounds defeated the Round Rock Express, 3-0, in American Conference action at Herschel Greer Stadium. Nashville pitcher John Thrailkill had a standout performance. Shane Lee, credited with the win, is now 2-2. He allowed no runs on 1 hit in 3 innings. Nashville, at 58-68, sits in third place in the American Conference South Division.

Nashville won the game in the bottom of the tenth inning. With no outs and Ben Daly on the mound for Round Rock, pinch hitter Clay Sellers hit a dramatic 3-run home run, bringing Sounds fans to their feet.

"This win should put a little bounce in our step," said Thrailkill.
