The Fresno Grizzlies racked up a win at Chukchansi Park, bumping off the El Paso Chihuahuas, 4-3. Antenor Palhares, who started for Fresno, pitched effectively for his team. Palhares went 7 innings to notch the win. He scattered 6 hits, walked 4, and struck out 11. His record improves to 14-7. Rutger Michelle sewed up the save, his 6th.

Tony Tenesaca had a critical at-bat with two out in the bottom of the sixth for Fresno. He came through with a run-scoring single to put Fresno in front, 4-2.

Tenesaca told a Fresno Times reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.
