Ethan Sanders put on a pitching clinic, while helping the Sacramento River Cats beat the Albuquerque Isotopes, 3-1. The winning pitcher was Sanders, now 9-10. He tossed 7 innings of 3-hit ball, while walking 2 and fanning 8. Sacramento is now 53-76. Albuquerque is 70-59.

Chris McCobb had a big run-scoring double for the River Cats in the bottom of the fifth inning. With Sacramento leading 2-1 and a runner on 1st, he got a sinker from 24-year old right-handed pitcher Mason Wright and swatted a double to left. It was his 3rd double of the season, and more importantly, it put the River Cats ahead, 3-1.

McCobb said the team appreciates the support from the fans. "I'm glad we could reward them with a good win," he said after the game.
