Matt McDuffy pitched well, but the Salt Lake Bees still lost the game, falling, 3-0, to the El Paso Chihuahuas at Southwest University park. Tony Navarro, 5-4, earned the win in relief. He allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2 innings. El Paso, at 62-67, holds down third place in the Pacific Conference South Division.

Davy Lewis drove in one run against the Bees. With the game tied in the bottom of the eighth inning, he hit a sacrifice fly that put El Paso in front, 1-0.
