Center Fielder Statham goes 4-for-5 in Iowa Win
The Iowa Cubs topped the Omaha Storm Chasers, 10-7, with left fielder T.J. Statham playing a big role. Statham was 4 for 5 with a double and 3 singles. He scored 2 times and drove in 4 for the Cubs in the win. Iowa reliever Omar Zaragoza was the winner. His record is now 2-0. Nick Colley took the loss. The Cubs are now 69-61.

In the first inning, Statham had a run-scoring double for Iowa. It was his 19th double of the season and put the Cubs on top, 1-0.

"I've been criticized for being a slacker, but the one thing I do care about is winning," Statham told the Iowa Daily.
