Clutch Hitting Delivers Win for River Cats
The Sacramento River Cats took Reno pitcher Steve Reinke's best shot and still were able to claim a win at Raley Field. The final score had Sacramento getting past the Aces, 5-4. Reinke went 7 innings and allowed 4 runs, striking out 9. Randy Misener picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 5-5. Tony Trujillo was tagged with the loss. At 69-61, the River Cats are currently first in the Pacific Conference North Division.

Sacramento won the game in the bottom of the ninth inning. With one out and Tony Trujillo on the mound for Reno, second baseman Andy VanAsselberg hit a dramatic solo home run, bringing River Cats fans to their feet.

"That's how to finish a ballgame," said VanAsselberg.
