Rivera Masters Reading in Complete Game Win
|
Wet weather did not postpone the Harrisburg-Reading ballgame.
Bobby Rivera pitched a gem in leading Harrisburg to a 6-1 victory over the Reading Fightin Phils. After losing, Reading is 1-7.
Rivera dominated for Harrisburg, raising his record to 1-1. Reading hitters had few good at-bats against the right-hander, who scattered 3 hits over 9 innings while striking out 6.
"I'm proud of the way we took care of business and got the 'W' today," Rivera told the Harrisburg News. "Whatever it takes."
