In a low-scoring contest between the El Paso Chihuahuas and the Reno Aces, Mike Domzalski, who leads the PC in holds with 9, proved to be the difference. The El Paso right-hander earned props for his performance in the 3-2 Chihuahuas win. The win puts the Chihuahuas at 74-58, while the Aces drop to 59-73.
El Paso took a 3-2 lead on Bryan Abramson's 19th home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which Abramson hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Reno pitcher Josh Vaughn visibly frustrated.
"Tough loss," said Reno manager Jose Heredia. "But we'll rebound from it."
