Omaha registered a win at Werner Park by beating the Colorado Springs Sky Sox, 7-3. Pitcher Nate Brown was one reason why the Storm Chasers triumphed. At 73-60, the Storm Chasers find themselves in second place in the American Conference North Division.

Aaron Wells had a big run-scoring double for the Storm Chasers in the bottom of the fourth inning. With Omaha leading 1-0 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a fastball from former first round draft pick Jason Valenzuela and swatted a double to left-center. It was his 29th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Storm Chasers ahead, 2-0.

"It's nice to come out on top today," said Wells.
