The Colorado Springs Sky Sox went home winners at Security Service Field, thanks in large part to starter Sean Dale. Dale stifled the Nashville Sounds, enabling Colorado Springs to grab the 7-1 win. The Sky Sox, at 60-73, sit in last place in the American Conference North Division.
Dale was charged with 1 run on 7 hits over 8.2 innings for the Sky Sox. With the win, the 6-foot-2 , 205-pound right-hander goes to 6-11.
"I had a good game plan," said Dale. "I made my pitches." His manager concurred. "It was all there," Dustin Kent said, "the velocity, the sharpness of his pitches."
