Chihuahuas Fall Short, 4-3, at Albuquerque
The Albuquerque Isotopes picked up a win at Isotopes Park, knocking off the El Paso Chihuahuas, 4-3. Starting pitcher Zózimo Oliveiras played a key role in the triumph. After today's action, Albuquerque sits at 69-73, while El Paso falls to 77-65.

Mike Romero dealt the Chihuahuas a blow in the bottom of the fifth. Batting with runners on 1st and 2nd and Albuquerque leading 3-1, Romero hit a 0-1 fastball for a run-scoring single.

"I was a little disappointed," said El Paso manager Matt Pace. "We could've and should've scored more runs."
