Storm Chasers Earn 5-4 Win Versus Sounds
The Omaha Storm Chasers topped the Nashville Sounds by a score of 5-4. Leading the way was first baseman Dan Redmond. Redmond was 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once for the Storm Chasers. The winner was Omaha reliever C.J. Confalone, now 1-0. The loser was Shane Lee. Omaha is now 73-62, while Nashville is 60-73.

The game was all tied up in the top of the eighth, until Redmond delivered big-time for Omaha, stroking a dramatic run-scoring single off Shane Lee. The game-changing hit put the Storm Chasers on top, 5-4.

"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Redmond told the Omaha Bulletin.
