The Omaha Storm Chasers got production up and down the lineup while beating the New Orleans Zephyrs, 15-2. One standout was first baseman Bobby Ruiz. Ruiz, who is tied for 9th in the AC in stolen bases with 22, went 3 for 5 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. Jalen Covington wrapped it up, recording his 1st save. The Storm Chasers have a one-game lead in the American Conference North Division.

In the top of the third, Omaha catcher Josh Cortez had a productive at-bat. With the bases loaded and two out, Cortez stroked a 2-run single to right. It made the score 13-0, Omaha. For the game, he went 1 for 4 with a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.
