Ceresa Goes Distance in Salt Lake Win
The first-place Salt Lake Bees picked up another win.

Salt Lake starter Marquise Ceresa clamped down on the Sacramento offense, while his team cruised to victory, 11-1. The Bees improved to 79-58.

Ceresa, who has sometimes raised the ire of coaches and teammates with his famously lackadaisical work ethic, turned in a spirited effort. The hurler struck out 9 in 9 innings and gave up 1 run.

Ceresa moves to 2-0 on the year with 16 strikeouts.

"When Marquise executes, it really doesn't matter what the other lineup is," said Salt Lake field general Aaron Hunt.
