Strother Helps River Cats Beat Chihuahuas, 6-3
Sacramento second baseman Nate Strother helped his team beat the El Paso Chihuahuas, 6-3. Strother, who is tied for 8th in the PC with a .284 batting average, went 4 for 4 for the River Cats. Tyler Giannini nailed down the save. Sacramento raised its record to 75-67 with the win.

David Pena was 1-3 for Sacramento. With one out and the game tied in the bottom of the sixth inning, Pena had a clutch at-bat. Facing El Paso hurler Jose Urbina, he hit a sacrifice fly to give the River Cats a 4-3 lead.

"It doesn't matter if you're 10 games over .500 or 10 games under, it feels good to win," Strother told the Sacramento News.
