River Cats Go 10 Innings to Beat El Paso, 3-2

Sacramento and El Paso duked it out and the River Cats came out victorious.
Sacramento River Cats starter Mario Correa was locked-in. He led his team to a win over the El Paso Chihuahuas, 3-2. Juan Talamantes, now 6-1, was credited with the win in 3 innings of relief. He allowed no runs on no hits, while striking out 5 and walking 0.
Left Fielder David Carroll Jr. made an impact for Sacramento, when he swatted a solo home run off Bill Pufahl in the top of the third. For the contest, Carroll Jr. was 1-4 with a home run and a walk.
"There's no quit in this team," said River Cats manager Elwiin de Lange.
Sacramento goes to 81-61. The win puts them 8 games up in their division.
