Dodgers Suffer 3-2 Loss to Sky Sox
The Colorado Springs Sky Sox did just enough to sneak past the Oklahoma City Dodgers, 3-2, at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark. Colorado Springs pitcher Ken Poole, in particular, had a standout performance. Jared Irwin recorded the save, making him 2 for 2. Colorado Springs, at 65-77, occupies last place in the American Conference North Division.

Colorado Springs used a clutch at-bat from Jose Ruiz to capture the win. The center fielder hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Sky Sox ahead, 3-1. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

"I made a lot of good pitches," said Poole. "I was right where I wanted to be."
