Nashville Keeps Trending in Wrong Direction
|
The New Orleans Zephyrs got a good effort from starter Cody Ross in defeating the Nashville Sounds at Zephyr Field. The final score was 4-1. Tim Basile notched his 11th save in 15 chances. The Sounds, now 45-97, have lost 6 in a row.
In the bottom of the sixth, Jose Pacheco delivered a clutch hit. With two gone and runners on 1st and 2nd, the New Orleans shortstop hit a run-scoring single, putting the Zephyrs in front, 4-1.
"We've hit a rough patch right now," said Nashville skipper Mauricio Soto.
